Heroes Volume 3 Ended on December 15, 2008
Anybody has watched Heroes Volume 3: Villains? It has ended after a total of 13 episodes on December 15, 2008. This time I would say the storyline twisted here and there until at one point you gonna feel really confuse of what happening. Overall, I would say, I still enjoyed watching it and for those who can’t sustain the temptation will not be able to sleep until you watch the next episode.
I will try to avoid spoilers as much as I can in this short review. However, if you really don’t want to know any details without watching it first, please do not continue reading. I have a copy of this season (if you know what I mean) …
Volume 3 focus on “Villains” as the title stated. Who are the Villains? Angela or Sylar? or even ex-politician Nathan or the so called brilliant Mohander Suresh? The writer, Tim Kring still able to keep you wondering what will happen in the next episode.
This season/volume started with Nathan get shot when he was about to announce to the whole world that he has special ability. Who shot Nathan, did he died? Meanwhile Hiro Nakamura received a message from his late father to guard a formula which can change the world. Without listening to his father telling him not to open the vault which containing the formula, he opened the vault and create another problem.
Towards in the middle, there are few dramas which involved different people. Noah, Claire and Sylar are one of them. Noah keep hating Sylar he had obtained Claire power.
Towards in the middle as well, all heroes temporarily have no powers. Why was that so? During this short period of time, heroes were fighting ‘bare-hands’ without powers.
Towards the end, there are two parties fighting each other, whether to keep the formula or to destroy it. Which party won? You gotta watch yourself. The ending was designed to lead to another more questions. However, the “Villains” was solved. Who was the “Villains” and what he/she tried to do?
Personally, I like the way the storyline went through, but for me, the end was so simple. It should have been more action, confusion, twisting ending.
